water money to water
There was a milk Vender living in a town. He had a small Cowshed and some cows. Everyday he used to sell the cow milk to the residents in the town and a near by town area. He used to collect the money form the residents once in a month. He used to earn Rs.10000/- per month. People in the town and near by were happy with the milk vender. The life of the Milk Vender and his family was going on happily.
As the time passed the Milk Vender developed greediness. He thought why he should not mix some water in the milk and sell the milk to more people and can earn more money. He started mixing water in the milk and started selling to more people. At the end of the month as usual he collected the money from the residents. The milk sold money collected rose to Rs.12000/-. The Milk Vender was happy and decided to continue mixing water in the Milk and sell.
After collecting the money, he kept in his bag and was returning to his house. On the way he thought he can take some rest and go home. He found a place to take rest under a Tree which is on the river bed. He kept the money bag by his side and laid down under the tree. After few minutes he found his money bag was missing. He saw a monkey with his money bag and sitting on the branch of the tree under which he was taking rest.
Milk Vender started to shout at the monkey to give back the money bag to him. The monkey did not give the money bag. After trying many time the Milk Vender threw a banana which was with him to the monkey. The monkey dropped the money bag and caught the Banana. Due to the throw some Money fell on the river bank and some money fell in the flowing water of the river. Monkey after taking the banana ran away.
Milk Vender collected the money which had fell on the Ground. He was not able to collect the money which fell in the river water. When he counted the money collected by him, he found it was exactly Rs.10000/-.
Moral of the story is “Cost of water will go to the water”, "Cost of hard work will go to the hard worker".
Therefore, only the money earned by hard work will be with the earner. Money earned otherwise will go otherwise.
