Sri Munaiah, is from the Second Generation Gunisetty Family.
Sri Munaiah is the third son of Sri Venkatappa of First Generation.
Gunisetty family lived in a Palatial house in Millerpet of Bellary.
The Family which belongs to Padmashali Caste was engaged in Cloth Business and Agriculture.
Sri Munaiah excelled in Politics, rose up and was elected as Bellary Municipal president in early 60s of 20th Century.
Recently his son Mr. Lokaraj, located engraved stone slabs in Bellary Municipal Building used at the time of Inauguration of Bellary Water works by His Highness Jayachamaraja Wadayar, Governor of Mysore State in the Presence of Chief Minister Nijalingappa and President Gunisetty Munaiah. Another stone indicating G. Munaiah as president of Bellary Municipality from during 1963-1964.
